- Winners will be randomly selected after Indonesia officially announces the opening of its borders. By ‘open borders’ we mean ‘tourist entry allowed on a tourist visa or visa-free with no quarantine required’.
- The winners will be notified via an Instagram message and announced on @xanadusurf Instagram channel within 3 days from the official government announcement.
- The prizes are as follows:

Unforgettable Experience
I had the most incredible time in Lombok at the Xanadu Surf & Yoga retreat! Lombok itself is like a paradise island, completely unspoiled. The Xanadu camp was beautifully relaxing, peaceful, clean and the food was great. However, it was the people who made the experience! As a brand new surfer I was very nervous but the wonderful Ola and Daniella were always on hand to offer words of advice and encouragement. Aret was an incredible coach, who was able to give the most terrified new surfer the confidence to keep trying! I felt like I made the whole team proud when I did well, they really made you feel so comfortable and part of the family. Yoga in the evening was so serene and the perfect end to the day. Both locations where we practiced were stunning and I would love to return. This was my first solo trip and I was so lucky to end up sharing the experience with an amazing group of people from all over the world! It was a thrilling experience and I look forward to returning, as soon as we’re all allowed to travel again!!

Kute’s best kept secret
Xanadu is the perfect balance of all things Lombok! Close enough to Kute’s best restaurants and cafes, yet quiet enough to really relax. Only a short ride on the scooter to a huge variety of amazing waves, and some truly breathtaking scenery.
The accommodation is beautifully designed and maintained, and the beds were ultra comfy.
The included breakfasts were healthy and tasty, my personal favourite being the overnight oats!
Ola is a truly exceptional host, and has surrounded herself with a great local team, who always go above and beyond, for the guests.
I will most definitely be back, hopefully some time soon 🙂

So many happy memories!
I stayed at Xanadu for 5 nights while solo-travelling in Kuta, Lombok - it was definitely the highlight of my trip! The surfing and yoga were fantastic, but the most enduring memories were of all the times in between- hanging out waiting for the tides; kicking back with a beer in the evening; or enjoying an amazing breakfast after a morning surf, all with the coolest people and a backdrop of paradise. Ola and all the staff have created a wonderfully welcoming space and go out of their way to make guests feel at home. I would definitely recommend Xanadu to anyone wanting expert surf instruction, or who just want to spend time relaxing in a beautiful guesthouse with great people on the incredible island of Lombok.

Highlight of my trip to Indonesia
My stay at Xanadu was fantastic. The activities were well-organized, yet flexible in taking into account individual wishes and needs. Everyone at Xanadu was incredibly friendly, fun and helpful, and the resort itself is tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. The surf instructors were patient and skilled, and great at adapting their teaching to the level of the student. On top of that, Lombok is an absolutely beautiful island with a great laid-back vibe. An overall great experience that I would definitely recommend.

Thank you Xanadu for the BEST WEEK EVER!!
My week at Xanadu as part of the Salty Dance surf retreat was one of the best weeks I've ever had! Aret + Reman were both extremely knowledgable in the ocean and really helped me build on my skills and push my boundaries, in a fun and supportive way. Xanadu itself was lovely, comfortable, clean, and felt like home right away. All of the staff were beautiful, warm & friendly people. Dana did an incredible job at putting this retreat together and was a pleasure to learn from! The food was amazing too! Was always looking forward to the next meal..haha. Have the happiest memories from my week at Xanadu, looking forward to going back. Would highly recommend to all 🙂
