Latest travel rules for Bali/Lombok

We are excited to see that the entry to Indonesia has become easier. When you plan a trip to Lombok, we recommend to enter Indonesia via Bali. Once in Bali, you can take a 20-minute flight to Lombok. Xanadu Surf & Yoga is located 20-minute drive from Lombok International Airport. There are currently no international flights landing in Lombok itself.

Below, we have gathered some info on the latest entry rules via Bali. Please note that the rules keep changing. Therefore, make sure to check the latest rules prior to travelling.

 

Is there Visa On Arrival available?

Currently Visa On Arrival is available to tourists from the below countries entering Indonesia via Bali – Bali must be the first port of entry into Indonesia.

What is Visa on Arrival?

Travellers can buy VOA after arriving in Bali Airport. It is valid for 30 days and costs USD 35. The visa can be extended for 30 more days. Total maximum stay in Indonesia with VOA is 60 days.

 

Do I need to quarantine?

UPDATE: NO MORE QUARANTINE (as of 24 March 2022)

There is no more quarantine when you arrive in Indonesia. All travellers need to have a negative PCR test taken max 48 hours before departure and do a PCR test upon arrival (cost IDR 275.000). You will need to have a 1-night reservation in one of the CHSE certified hotels (check links below for the list). You are free to travel around Indonesia after that.

 

 

Do I need to be vaccinated to enter Indonesia? 

Yes, you need to be fully vaccinated and have a valid insurance to travel to Indonesia. Indonesia does NOT recognise documented recovery from Covid-19 as a substitute for your vaccination certificate. You MUST be fully vaccinated.

 

 

What other documents are required to enter Indonesia?

  1. Valid visa or VOA.
  2. Proof (physical or digital) of full vaccination
  3. Proof of travel insurance
  4. Negative PCR test result in English sample taken within 2×24 hrs of departure (including infants).
  5. Confirmed 3N/4D booking at a CHSE hotel booked on ANY platform
  6. PeduliLindungi installed on your mobile and eHAC completed.

 

What airlines are flying directly to Bali?

As of 9 March, SIA, Scoot, and Jetstar are flying from Singapore to Bali, Garuda and Jetstar are flying from Australia, Malaysia Airlines from Kuala Lumpur, and KLM from Amsterdam via Singapore. [Source: https://www.facebook.com/groups/BaliCovid]

Emirates have also announced they will resume direct flights from Dubai to Bali.

 

What airlines are flying from Bali to Lombok?

Currently there are Wings Air and Lion flights available between Bali and Lombok. The easiest way to book them is through Traveloka.
